This vintage five-panel lacquered screen from Thailand features a striking arrangement of hand-painted figural and animal scenes rendered in red, gold, and green against a black lacquered ground. Each panel is divided into three rectangular registers, all bordered by intricate stenciled motifs and fine gilt tracery.
