This vintage Thai ceramic planter is distinguished by its generous, rounded form and richly layered surface, finished in a mottled palette of earthy green, warm brown, and subtle red tones. The vessel is wheel-thrown and substantial in scale, with a wide mouth, gently tapering body, and a raised foot that gives the form both stability and visual lift. Small lug-style handles applied at the shoulder add a sculptural accent while reinforcing its utilitarian origins.
The surface displays pronounced horizontal throwing lines beneath the glaze, emphasizing its handmade character.
