A vintage Chinese horizontal shop sign from the mid 20th century with red lacquered finish and carved gilt calligraphy. Created during the midcentury this shop sign features an outer molded frame surrounding a beautiful calligraphic text of six words that have been carefully carved and gilded to stand out on a dark red/brown lacquered background.
Featured in our panels collection this vintage shop sign has been fitted with two ring pulls on both sides of the top to allow it to beautifully hang on a wall. Hung on a wall in the hallway or above the door in the entryway or even just leaned up against the wall sitting atop a fireplace, this 20th century shop sign will be the perfect decorative accent.
