This vintage rattan table offers a versatile and charming presence, equally suited for use as a low coffee table or a large serving tray. The raised oval rim is finely woven and sits above an airy openwork base formed from bent and wrapped rattan poles. With its natural honey tones and lightweight construction, this piece lends an easy, casual sophistication to both indoor and covered outdoor spaces.
The oval top is tightly handwoven in a consistent pattern, bordered by a tall, gently flared edge that helps to contain items when used for serving or display. The base features two curved end supports joined by multiple vertical struts, echoing the traditional craftsmanship seen in midcentury Southeast Asian or coastal designs.
