A vintage lost wax cast bronze squirrel family sculpture from the mid 20th century with verde patina. We have three available, priced and sold individually. Created with the traditional technique of the lost-wax (à la cire perdue) which allows for great precision and finesse in the details, this sculpted group depicts a squirrel family. The mother is sitting nicely on the ground, holding a nut in her hands while her baby is laying at her feet.
Nicely textured, this bronze squirrel family sculpture will be a lovely addition to any home, perhaps displayed on a fire mantel, commode or side table.
