This vintage Chinese ceramic form has saturated emerald-green glaze and molded foliate decoration. Its substantial cylindrical silhouette can function as a planter, garden element or sculptural table base. Sold individually.
The glossy green glaze has attractive tonal variation throughout, with lighter and darker areas that emphasize the molded decoration and handmade character of the piece. The wide opening and hollow interior make it suitable for use as a planter, while the substantial proportions also allow it to serve as a pedestal or support for a custom tabletop in both indoor and covered outdoor settings.
