A vintage bronze double monkey coffee table base from the mid-20th century, with verde patina. The top is not included but shown on the photos to allow a better visualization of the possibilities. Created with the traditional technique of the lost-wax (à la cire perdue) that allows a great precision and finesse in the details, this coffee table base captures our imagination with its unusual base. Two monkeys, independent from one another, are placed back to back.
Adorned with ornate scrolls and geometric motifs on their bodies, they raise their arms up to hold the top of your choice (we recommend glass for a perfect see through). With their great patina and fascinating presence, this vintage coffee table base will bring an exotic touch to any home decor, whether placed in a living room or patio. Being independent, the monkeys can also be placed at different width to accommodate your top.
