A vintage pair of Country style Burmese hand woven rattan chairs from the mid 20th century, with arching backs and double H-Form cross stretchers. Created in Burma (nowadays called Myanmar) during the midcentury period, this pair of rattan chairs captures our attention with its elegant lines and relaxed presence. Each chair features a comfortable back with arching top, connected to a seat falling into a long skirt. The ensemble is raised on four bamboo legs, straight in the front and slightly splaying in the back.
These legs are strengthened and connected to one another through a double H-Form cross stretcher. With their graceful lines and rattan structure, this vintage pair of Country style Burmese chairs from the mid 20th century will make for a wonderful addition to any home, particularly placed in a beach house, country home or mountain cabin! We have several pairs available, priced and sold per pair.
