This stunning Japanese Taisho vintage cabinet is a favorite addition to our antique and vintage cabinets collection. Crafted during the early 20th century, this large vintage cabinet is made of wood that comes from the Kiri tree - also called the princess or empress tree -widely seen throughout Southeast Asia. Known to be one the fastest growing trees in the world, these plants are considered signs of good fortune and fertility in Japan, China and Thailand.
This beautiful Kiri wood was crafted to create our large vintage cabinet featuring two sliding doors atop three small drawers above two large hinged doors that rest on top of rectangular drawers beneath. The sliding doors display artistic floral depictions and open to reveal shelving and two petite drawers. When you open the large hinged doors four large narrow drawers can be rolled out. A delightful addition to any bedroom, living room, dining room, or office while also being a unique gift idea for creative artists - the wood print blocks offer an artistic touch while the leveled, narrow drawers offer convenient storage space for keeping drawings and artwork safe!
