Created in Indonesia during the early years of the 20th century, this Dutch Colonial cabinet features a handsome bonnet top highlighted with red and gilded accents, overhanging two paneled beveled glass doors opening to reveal a large interior.
Two drawers with ring pulls mark the lower section while the ensemble is raised on four cabriole legs with gilt acanthus leaves. The apron provides a perfect visual conclusion with its carved shell flanked with scrolling foliage.
