Description

A Chinese Qing Dynasty Ming style yumu wood wine console table from the 19th century, with carved spandrels, humpback stretchers and new custom lacquer. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty in the 19th century, this yumu wood (also known as Northern elm) wine table features a rectangular top with beveled edges, sitting above an apron showcasing carved spandrels and humpback stretchers, accented with delicate carved scrolling foliage.

The table is raised on four cylindrical splaying legs connected to one another through side stretchers of similar style, placed at varying heights depending on the side. The wine table has been newly and professionally relacquered and boasts a dark reddish brown color. With its clean lines, subtly carved décor and dark patina, this Chinese Ming Dynasty style yumu wine console table from the 19th century will bring a touch of simple authenticity to any home, whether placed in a living room, hallway, kitchen or cellar!
