Description

A Chinese Qing Dynasty period two-toned wooden cabinet from the 19th century, with brass hardware. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty in the 19th century, this tall cabinet features a linear silhouette perfectly complimented by a two-toned finish. The cabinet showcases two brown wooden doors made of slightly recessed panels surrounded by a lighter frame. Fitted with elongated brass hardware including ornate pulls on shaped backplates, these doors open to reveal a dark red lacquered interior made of shelves and a lower compartment concealed under a lift-up board.

The cabinet is raised on four straight legs connected to a simply carved apron in the front. The sides present a unified color. The back showcases a dark red finish. Adorned with three carved panels in its lower section, the cabinet is accented with semi circular motifs securing the thin wooden hinges. With its clean lines and complimenting colors, this Qing Dynasty 19th century wooden cabinet will bring an undeniable touch of elegance to any home, whether placed in a living room or bedroom.
