Description

A Chinese Qing Dynasty period wooden armoire from the 19th century with carved skirt, brown patina and large brass medallion. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty in the 19th century, this wooden armoire features a linear silhouette perfectly complimented by a brown patina. The façade showcases two doors with large brass medallion and teardrop pulls, accented with hinges of similar style. These doors open to reveal a dark interior with inner shelves offering convenient storage opportunities. The façade's lower section is made of four drawers fitted with teardrop pulls, followed by an eye-catching openwork skirt carved with scrolling foliage.

The sides are sans décor except for a simply carved apron each and they present a nicely distressed brown patina. The back is planked, with a darker color. With its clean lines, skillfully executed décor and brown patina, this Chinese Qing Dynasty period wooden armoire from the 19th century will make for a great addition to any home, placed in a bedroom or living room.
