Description

An antique Chinese elmwood sideboard from the early 20th century, with carved spandrels and bronze hardware. Created in China during the early years of the 20th century, this elm sideboard features a rectangular top with central board, sitting above two doors fitted with a traditional bronze medallion. These doors open to reveal an inner shelf and a single hidden drawer.

Flanked with skillfully carved spandrels on the sides adorned with scrolling foliage echoed on the apron, the sideboard is raised on four straight feet. With its graceful lines and warm patina, this early 20th century Chinese elmwood sideboard will bring a touch of exotic elegance to any bedroom, living room or foyer.
