Description

A Chinese bamboo and elm wine table from the early 20th century with fretwork motifs. Created in China during the early years of the 20th century, this wine table features a square elm top with central board, sitting above a rustic bamboo base.

The pierced apron is adorned with an open fretwork panel adorning each side. The table is raised on four straight legs strengthened by a simple stretcher, decorated with woven rattan links with looping accents serving as spandrels. The ensemble boasts a nicely weathered patina perfect for a wine table.

With its simple lines and distressed appearance, this Chinese bamboo and elm table from the early 20th century will make for a lovely addition to any home, particularly placed in a wine cellar!
