Made in Thailand in 1998, this large artisan ceramic vase has a rounded body, a gently flared neck and a tactile drip-glazed surface. Layered cream and earthy tones emphasize the hand-crafted finish.
The exterior is finished with a distinctive drip-textured glaze in layered tones of warm cream, sand, and light ochre. Vertical flowing patterns cascade down the body of the vase, creating a naturalistic effect reminiscent of mineral deposits or weathered stone. This dimensional surface treatment adds depth and movement, giving the piece a strong tactile presence and emphasizing its handcrafted studio pottery character.
The interior is finished with a darker, glossy glaze that contrasts subtly with the matte and textured exterior surface. This detail reinforces the sense of artisanal craftsmanship while also providing durability for functional use.
With its wide mouth and generous proportions, the vase works beautifully for floral arrangements, dried branches, or as a standalone decorative object. The neutral palette allows it to integrate easily into a variety of interiors, from rustic and organic spaces to contemporary settings where texture and natural materials are emphasized.
