Set of four 19th-century Japanese hand-painted blue-and-white Imari porcelain plates. Imari is a style of porcelain named after the Japanese port from which it was shipped from, beginning in the late 17th century. Imari-ware, took its design cues from colorful Japanese textiles of the day such as exotic landscapes and birds. Please note: for decorative use only. Age wear.
