A long 19th century Chinese wall sign with calligraphy, hand carved and hand painted. This narrow rectangular panel showcases four hand carved Chinese calligraphic symbols. The calligraphy was hand painted in black, contrasting wonderfully with the red lacquered background and gilt adornments. A top tie allows for hanging.
