An Indian wooden cabinet from the 19th century, with single fretwork door and brass ring handle. Created in India during the 19th century, this wooden cabinet features a single door adorned with hand-carved geometric fretwork patterns. The piece is topped with a molded cornice and rests on a delicately carved bracketed plinth. The door opens thanks to a patinated brass ring pull with flower-shaped backplate to reveal a central shelf.
Two simple wooden latches placed in the upper and lower sections help keep the door closed. With its hand-carved fretwork door and charming rustic appearance, this 19th century Indian cabinet, a part of our tall & large cabinet collection, will bring a touch of authenticity to any home, whether placed in a bedroom, living room or mudroom.
