A large Chinese Qing Dynasty period armoire cabinet from the 19th century with 14 drawers and two accordion doors. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty period, this cabinet attracts our attention with its numerous drawers and dark patina. 14 Drawers of various sizes (three over four in the upper section, echoed in reverse order in the lower one), surround two accordion doors opening to reveal a convenient hanging storage compartment.
The various drawers and doors showcase clean geometrical shapes, evoking traditional Chinese screens. Retaining its original brown light brown lacquer contrasted by darker edges, the armoire is raised on four straight legs with discreetly carved apron on three sides.
