A Chinese Qing dynasty period cabinet from the 19th century, with carved panels depicting Guanyin and ceremonial ancestors. Created in China during the Qing dynasty, this 19th century cabinet attracts our attention with its beautifully contrasting colors and carved motifs.

Depicting the bodhisattva Guanyin as well as ceremonial ancestors, the façade presents small doors in the upper section followed by two larger ones creating a focal point with their black ground highlighting their decorative motifs to perfection.

The doors open to reveal inner shelves and hidden drawers while the lower section completes the ensemble with its two drawers fitted with hardware. Resting on straight legs accented with carved spandrels, this Qing dynasty carved cabinet will be an excellent addition to any bedroom, living room or foyer.
