Description

A Chinese Qing Dynasty period elm wood side cabinet from the 19th century, with two doors, bronze hardware, inner shelves and hidden drawers. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty period in the 19th century, this elm wood side cabinet features a linear silhouette perfectly complimented by a brown patina. The cabinet showcases a rectangular top sitting above two doors fitted with a large bronze medallion opening thanks to a key to reveal inner shelves and hidden drawers offering convenient storage space.

Two ornate pulls on rosette backplates, partially echoed on a smaller scale in the lower section, complete the ensemble below. The sides are plain and fitted with handles allowing the piece to be moved more easily. The back presents a darker hue. With its clean lines and small proportions, this Chinese Qing Dynasty period side cabinet from the 19th century will make for a lovely addition to any home, perhaps placed in a living room or hallway.
