Description

A Chinese black and brown lacquered cabinet from the early 20th century, with with brass hardware, four doors and drawers. Created in China during the early years of the 20th century, this cabinet features a linear silhouette made of a black body accented with brown panels. The upper section is adorned with two molded doors with slightly raised panels, that open thanks to brass hardware to reveal two inner shelves and hidden drawers.


The central section comprises two drawers with brass hardware made of inverted C-scrolls on exquisite backplates. The lower part echoes the structure of the upper section on a smaller scale, sans the hidden drawers. The purity of its lines and beautifully contrasting colors will make this Chinese early 20th century cabinet an excellent choice for any bedroom or office. The upper section measures 34"H and the lower section is 32"H.
