The Console, Altar & Dining Tables collection presents antique, vintage, and select contemporary designs from China, India, and Southeast Asia. Since 1964, FEA Home has offered tables that reflect centuries of craftsmanship across Asia. These pieces were originally created for gathering, ceremony, and display, and today they bring sculptural beauty and practical function into modern interiors.

Our altar tables and console tables include long, narrow designs with carved spandrels, everted flanges, and lacquered finishes. Many were used in temples or homes for offerings and decorative display. Dining tables in this collection range from rustic farmhouse styles to formal Qing Dynasty pieces, often crafted from elm, teak, or sheesham wood with traditional joinery, cloud motifs, and hand-carved detail. Many carry traces of earlier lives, while newer interpretations use clean lines that harmonize with historic materials.

The carved symbols on Chinese tables carry meaningful symbolism passed down through generations to convey blessings and prosperity. Common motifs include ruyi patterns representing good fortune, cloud carvings symbolizing heavenly blessings, dragons for power and protection, and peony flowers for wealth and honor. Bat carvings represent happiness because the Chinese word for bat sounds like "fortune," making it an auspicious symbol for the home.
