A vintage bronze family of Ibex sculpture on base from the mid 20th century, with verde patina. Created with the traditional technique of the lost-wax (à la cire perdue) which allows for great precision and finesse in the details, this sculpted group depicts a family of ibex, standing or sitting on a rocky base.
The male, protective and reassuring, is standing straight, slightly forward, surveying the scene in front of his eyes, while the female and baby are laying on the ground. Rendered in a verde patina, this vintage bronze wild mountain goats sculpted ground will be a lovely addition to any home décor.
