An antique Japanese kitchen cabinet from the 19th century, with sliding doors, drawers and iron hardware. Created during the 19th century, this kitchen cabinet is a fine example of Japan's mastery of cabinetry. The piece showcases a linear silhouette perfectly complimented by a dark brown patina. The façade features two rows of sliding doors offering convenient storage possibilities while the lower section presents additional sliding doors, flanked by a small drawer and a petite door with lock, the "safe" opening to two graduated drawers. The bottom part is strictly made of five drawers fitted with C-scroll handles.
The sides are made of a perfect rhythm of recessed panels while the back is, of course, unfinished with a nicely weathered patina. With its clean lines, convenient design and brown patina, this Japanese cabinet with sliding doors and drawers from the 19th century will make for a great addition to any home, particularly used in a kitchen! We review all of our pieces and address issues we may find before they leave for your home; however, this is an antique piece, and as such it will keep its character and some imperfections, which is the quintessence of antique and vintage furniture.
