A Chinese Qing Dynasty period wardrobe from the early 19th century with dark brown lacquer, brass hardware, doors, drawers and shelves. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty period in the early years of the 19th century, this wooden wardrobe features a linear silhouette perfectly complimented by a dark brown lacquer. The piece showcases a rectangular top sitting above two doors fitted with brass pulls on a large scalloped backplate. These doors open to reveal inner shelves and hidden drawers offering convenient storage space. The wardrobe's lower section presents three drawers fitted with brass ring pulls. The ensemble is raised on four straight legs connected to one another through a simply carved apron in the front.
The sides are made of recessed panels and the back is planked.
