Description

A Chinese Qing Dynasty period brown armoire from the 19th century, with brass round medallion, reconfigured pocket doors, two drawers and carved apron. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty period in the 19th century, this armoire features a linear silhouette perfectly complimented by a warm brown varnish. The piece adopts the typical 19th century Chinese rectangular shape, showcasing two doors and two drawers below. These doors are fitted with a large traditional brass medallion with teardrop pulls and open to reveal a convenient interior with two hidden drawers.

The pocket doors have been newly reconfigured. The lower section presents two additional drawers with brass bail handles and dovetail construction, as well as a carved apron. The ensemble is raised on four straight legs. With its clean lines and brown patina, this Chinese Qing Dynasty period armoire from the 19th century will make for a wonderful addition to any home, whether placed in a bedroom or a living room.
