Description

A Northern Chinese Qing Dynasty period elm and burl wood cabinet from the 19th century, with newer brass hardware, two doors and drawers. Created in Hebei during the Qing Dynasty period, this two-toned cabinet features two doors with burl accents fitted with a shaped medallion. The doors open to reveal inner shelves and hidden drawers, while the lower section showcases four additional drawers with C-scroll handles.

 

The cabinet is raised on four straight legs connected to one another through a carved apron in the front and side stretchers. With its clean lines and two-toned finish, this elm and burl wood Qing Dynasty 19th century cabinet will bring an elegant presence to any living room.
