Description

A Chinese Late Qing Dynasty period elm wood cabinet from the early 20th century, with brass medallion, teardrop pulls, two drawers and two doors on horse hoof feet. Created in China during the later years of the Qing Dynasty in the early 20th century, this elm wood cabinet features a rectangular top with central board, sitting above two drawers. These drawers are fitted with brass hardware, with trefoil inset pulls. The rest of the façade showcases two doors with large medallion, teardrop pulls and key, that open to reveal a dark interior with inner shelves offering convenient storage options.

The hinges are made of petite medallions echoing the central one. The ensemble is raised on four horse hoof feet. With its clean lines, brass hardware and natural elm patina, this Chinese Late Qing Dynasty cabinet from the early 20th century will make for a lovely addition to any living room, bedroom or foyer!
