Crafted in China during the 19th century, this small red rose console features a thin rectangular top with recessed panel and everted flanges, resting above a perfectly organized façade, presenting a pair of double doors fitted with bronze hardware. These doors open to reveal inner shelves, the lower one being protected by a removable panel in the front.
Flanked with carved panels, this façade shows a lovely contrast of colors between the red rose tones of the lacquered wood and the golden hue of the bronze hardware.
