Description

A Chinese planter from the 19th century, with green glazed body, cartouches with flowers and trees and yellow glazed bottom. Created in China during the 19th century, this large planter features a circular opening measuring 15 inches of diameter, sitting above a beveled edge adorned with small triangular motifs followed by small circles. The body showcases delicately tapering lines and a green glaze accented with a regular rhythm of rectangular cartouches.

Each side is adorned with a different motif, from flowers to trees. The lower section completes the ensemble beautifully with its yellow glaze. Boasting a nicely weathered patina, this Chinese planter from the 19th century will bring a subtle touch of elegance to any home, whether placed indoors in a living room or outdoors under a covered patio!
