Description

An antique 19th century Annamese green, blue and ocher planter from Vietnam with scrolling decor, clouds, traces of dragon motifs and distressed patina. Handcrafted in Vietnam during the 19th century, this planter features a circular Silhouette adorned with ocher, green and blue tones showing a nicely weathered appearance. Decorated with delicate faint motifs with friezes of clouds in the upper section and traces of dragons in the center, this planter reveals the long Vietnamese ceramic tradition, particularly present in the Annam province, an area heavily influenced - and once ruled by - China.

The inside is cream with a petite hole for evacuation at the bottom. Placed anywhere in a home, this Vietnamese Annamese planter from the 19th century will compliment a decor beautifully, particularly outdoors perhaps under a covered patio! Price is for single planter.
