Created in Vietnam during the 19th century, this multicolored glazed Annamese Martaban vase is adorned with a series of petite loop handles at the base of the neck, through which a rope would have been passed to secure a top. Showcasing an opening of 10.25" inches of diameter, the jar is adorned with green, blue and white peacock and floral motifs standing out beautifully on a yellow mustard ground.
