Description

A 17th century Chinese Ming Dynasty granary hand made from terracotta with a verde-gris patina. This miniature of a traditional Chinese granary features a conical top and rests on three small legs. Such items were often placed in graves in order to reproduce the deceased’s environment.

 

This 17th century handmade terracotta granary with verde-gris patina will be an exotic decorative item in most homes, particularly in a living room where it would no doubt be a tremendous conversation starter.
