A Chinese 19th century carved burl wood cabinet with two sections and four doors. This Chinese 19th century two section cabinet was made with burl wood showcasing an unusual patina. The cabinet displays an uncommon shape for Chinese furniture with a two rectangular door bottom part, an open middle part and a top part with two square doors. The whole cabinet is made with a varnished burl wood covered with a patina that enhances the wood grain, especially on the large door panels. The bottom apron is lightly carved with traditional Chinese patterns. The doors open thanks to typically Chinese round hardware and pear pulls on each door.
Thanks to its elegant shape and its enchanting natural wood tint, this tall 19th century Chinese two section burl wood cabinet would be an impressive storage unit in most homes, perhaps as a dresser in a dining room where its middle section would perfectly accommodate decorative items or dishes. We currently have two available, priced and sold separately.
