A vintage Burmese waterfall wooden coffee table from the mid-20th century with bamboo opium mat top, scrolling extremities and dark patina. Created in Burma during the midcentury period, this waterfall coffee table features a rectangular bamboo opium mat top flowing seamlessly into the side supports accented with delicately scrolling extremities. The piece is called waterfall because of its distinctive rounded drops at the side edges resembling a flowing waterfall in a manner particularly popular during the 1930s-1940s. The eye therefore embraces the ensemble as a whole.
We review all of our pieces and address issues we may find before they leave for your home; however, this is a vintage piece, and as such it will keep its character and some imperfections, which is the quintessence of antique and vintage furniture. The purity of the lines, combined with a dark brown patina, will make this Burmese waterfall coffee table a great choice to decorate any home, particularly placed in a living room or under a covered patio!
