This antique Chinese Gansu sideboard from the early 20th century features an unusual black painted body with six drawers over six doors. Each drawer and door is adorned with hand-painted floral motifs. The drawers are painted with curvy red outlines nicely framing the discreet flowers, while the doors, featuring a more linear framework, have received the addition of a green color. This buffet was produced in the North-Center province of China, called Gansu.
