Description

*Only One Left In-Stock*

Two vintage Thai handmade carved elephant sculptures from Chiang Mai, with slight variations. They are priced and sold individually. Born in Northern Thailand during the mid-century period, each of these two small sculptures depicts an elephant, laying down on its knees. Possibly in position to let a human get on their back, with their trunk lifted upwards, they exude a calm presence.

Accented with carved motifs and traces of polychromy, these Thai elephant sculptures will be great decorative items, either displayed as a single or as a pair, perhaps anchoring a chest-of-drawers, side table or console table.

*They are priced $395 each.
