A 19th century Indian Shesham wooden two-door cabinet with iron hardware. This tall wooden cabinet from the 19th century made with Shesham wood and iron hardware comes from Gujerat in India. This cabinet features a molded cornice and a carved base. The two massive doors are decorated with carved edges and are reinforced with iron hardware, contrasting nicely with the light patina of the wood. The whole cabinet is made of Shesham wood, an extremely solid Indian wood giving a nice rustic appeal to the ensemble.
The doors open to reveal three inner shelves. Thanks to its rustic sobriety, this Indian 19th century Shesham wood cabinet will be an uncommon storage unit in most rooms, perhaps in a den or office to be used as a bookcase or to store documents.
