A Japanese porcelain plate from the 19th century, with hand-painted blue and white dragons in clouds décor. Created in Japan during the 19th century, this porcelain plate features a delicate blue and white décor depicting an artistic composition adorning the totality of the plate. Two dragons, one coming out of the sea with large waves and one up in the sky, are surrounding a perfect arrangement of clouds. The décor alternates light and dark blue on white ground.
The plate presents a scalloped border accented with scrolling motifs.
