Created in China during the Qing Dynasty period in the 19th century, this porcelain altar vase features a nicely flaring neck flanked with petite pierced orange-painted handles on the sides allowing the piece to be moved more easily. The mouth's opening is 4 inches of diameter. The belly is adorned with an elegant orange, pink and green décor depicting elegant Chinese ladies sitting or standing next to a table and tending to their children.
A tree in the background provides a diagonal effect that leads our eyes throughout the composition. The back on the other hand is adorned with calligraphy.
